The cutting type shear from the intersecting mill teeth creates the highest shear rates in the industry. Dalworth's mills are used in asphalt & non asphalt emulsions, asphalt polymer blending, combination emulsion and blending, roofing products, coatings and sealers. The mills range from 5hp to 300hp.

The polymer units are designed for most dry and liquid polymers. The very efficient one pass process was developed by Dalworth more than 12 years ago and it has been proven to have the highest production rates in the industry. Units are available from 10 tons/hr up to 60 tons/hr based on blending a 6 to 12% SBS polymer in a single pass. A multi pass operation is an option using the same equipment.

The fixed stator mill offers an excellent asphalt particle distribution in most standard and modified asphalt emulsions. A decrease of up to 3% of asphalt residual can be seen in most high viscosity emulsions. The compact skid mounted emulsion units include all the necessary components and are simple to operate.

Dalworth's batch emulsion system includes a soap make up system, transfer pump, water heater and solution tanks. The continuous injection and semi continuous process are available. We can mount the emulsion system in a container, in a van or on a trailer.
